UBER IS TERRIBLE!!
DONT DRIVE FOR UBER!! They CAN rip you off!! My UBER HORROR STORY!
Waited about 40 mins at Detroit Metro Airport drivers waiting area and finally got a ride. I pull up to customer and FAULTY UBER APP
tells me to get customer pin. Customer says he doesn’t know what I am talking about. The FAULTY UBER APP then says enter last 4 numbers of customers phone. NOTHING! Ride won’t start on app. So to give this customer SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I tell him I will call customer service on Uber to fix this while we drive an hour to Flint. BIG MISTAKE!! While waiting 10-15 mins on hold customer starts complaining on having to pay 95.00 to Uber because Delta won’t fly into Flint. Then Uber answers my call and then disconnected the call!!! Another 10-15 hold time and Uber answers and says wrong 800 number for this issue!!!
You kidding me!?!?!?! 3rd call on our 10-15 minutes of waiting and the freeway shuts down!!! Major truck fire!! So while “customer service” puts us on hold about 5x approximately 5-10 mins at a time they finally fix the faulty app and it says ride has begun. 22 miles from Flint and 3 hrs later!!! I drop off customer and I am paid $22.00 for over 100 miles of driving and 3.25 hours in my car! Now customer and I are both upset. So 40 rides all 5 stars and this guy gives me a 1 star because of UBERS PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! It gets worse. I send 3 HELP DESK requests and 2 weeks later UBER says it was my problem not theirs!!!
Needless to say I will never drive for UBER again nor do I recommend ANYONE do it!
Their app clearly shows I picked a customer up at Detriot Metro Airport and drove him to Flint and dropped him off 3.25 hrs later.
I also sent UBER the link to the MLIVE article showing the major truck fire that closed down US23.
MY FAULT?!?!
My mistake was trying to provide an Uber customer SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and Uber burned me for it!!
